DADE CITY, Fla. – Dade City Police Department, along with Pasco Sheriff’s Office, responded to a call at Watson Park, located at 14536 19th St. Dade City, regarding a large disturbance where it was reported that shots were fired into a crowd gathered for a birthday party.
“We have confirmed that three (3) individuals were shot with an unknown caliber firearm. All victims are adults and one (1) of the three victims did die as a result from the injuries. At this time, it is unknown who started the altercation as the investigation continues,” said Dade City Police.
Police say that all parties involved were attending the party at the Park.

According to investigators, the individuals involved in this incident are involved in an ongoing dispute that has been happening over the past few months.
Investigators say one individual is deceased and two others went to area hospitals. One of those individuals was treated for their injuries and released.
The second person has been admitted and is reported to be stable and will remain hospitalized for observation.
