TAMPA, Fla. – The Tampa Police Department is currently investigating a shooting incident that occurred late Sunday night and left one man injured.
According to investigators, officers responded to the intersection of N 9th Street and E Wilma Street at approximately 11:15 p.m. on April 20, 2025, following reports of shots fired in the area.
When officers arrived, they found an adult male who had sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The victim was transported to a local hospital to receive medical treatment.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting are currently under investigation to determine the cause. As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the incident.
