When your service is restored, as a precautionary measure, we advise that all water used for drinking or cooking be boiled. A rolling boil of one minute is sufficient. Ice made during the time that water is being boiled should be discarded.
This precautionary notice will remain in effect until normal water service is restored and a 2-day bacteriological survey shows that the water is safe for drinking and cooking.
