A 10-year-old Indiana boy with Crohn’s disease recently experienced a dream come true thanks to the Sunshine Foundation. Connor Ambrose and his family were granted a “Magical Dream” trip to the Central Florida Theme Parks, providing a much-needed respite and a chance to create lasting memories.
Connor’s mother of Fort Wayne shared their excitement, stating, “We had an amazing time on our trip! It truly felt like a dream! I would say the highlights for everyone were our days at Universal Studios. Connor had an incredible time and especially loved Islands of Adventure.”

The Sunshine Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to fulfilling the dreams of children with severe chronic illnesses and conditions, made Connor’s dream a reality. The foundation focuses on children who may not qualify for wishes from other organizations due to not having a life-threatening diagnosis.
“We can’t thank everyone enough for the gift of this amazing trip,” Connor’s mother added. “It was a very special way for our amazing boy to celebrate his 10th birthday. We will be forever grateful for this opportunity and will cherish these memories always!”
