A federal court has sentenced four individuals to a combined 25 years in federal prison following their involvement in a methamphetamine trafficking operation. The sentencing comes after the recovery of more than 120 pounds of methamphetamine from their vehicle.
Christopher Warren Davis, 45, of Springfield, Illinois, received the most substantial sentence of 180 months (15 years) for his leading role in the operation. Kanesha L. Gladney, 28, was sentenced to 24 months (2 years) followed by three years of supervised release. The remaining two individuals also received prison sentences.

On February 21, 2023, a federal grand jury returned a two-count Indictment against Davis and three other co-defendants, charging them with a drug conspiracy and with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute.
According to public record, on February 5, 2023, members of the Oklahoma City Police Department’s Criminal Oklahoma Interdiction of Central Oklahoma (CITCO) unit stopped two vehicles, both registered out of state and traveling together in a suspicious manner, and located approximately 123 pounds of methamphetamine in one of the vehicles.

On August 9, 2023, Davis pleaded guilty to Count 2 of the Indictment and admitted to possessing 500 grams or more of methamphetamine with intent to distribute.
The case originated from an investigation by the FBI Oklahoma City Field Office, the Oklahoma City Police Department, and the Oklahoma City Sheriff’s Office. Law enforcement discovered the methamphetamine during a traffic stop, uncovering the extensive drug trafficking operation.
