MARION COUNTY, Fla. – Reagan Morales Roblero, a 37-year-old Guatemalan citizen, has been arrested and charged with attempting to entice a minor into sexual activity. If convicted, he faces a minimum of 10 years and up to life in federal prison. Morales Roblero is currently in custody.
Court documents reveal that in July 2024, Morales Roblero initiated sexually explicit conversations with an undercover Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) agent posing as a 13-year-old girl online.

Despite being informed of the “girl’s” age, Morales Roblero continued the explicit communication and even planned to meet her at a motel in Ocala. He was apprehended by law enforcement at the motel lobby.
It is important to note that a complaint is merely an accusation, and Morales Roblero is presumed innocent until proven guilty. The case was investigated by HSI and the Marion County Sheriff’s Office and will be prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Sarah Janette Swartzberg.
This case is part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative to combat child sexual exploitation and abuse.
