Teofilo Samuel Molina-Espinoza, a 39-year-old illegal immigrant living in Palm Coast, has been indicted on charges of illegal reentry by a deported alien and failure to register as a sex offender.
He could face up to 30 years in federal prison if found guilty.

The indictment alleges that Molina-Espinoza was previously convicted in 2012 of lewd/lascivious battery on a minor and was subsequently deported to Honduras.
However, he was discovered to be illegally back in the United States on July 18, 2024. Additionally, he failed to register as a sex offender as mandated by law.
U.S. Attorney Roger B. Handberg emphasized that an indictment is simply an accusation, and Molina-Espinoza is presumed innocent until proven guilty. Homeland Security Investigations and the United States Marshals Service are investigating the case, which will be prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Stephanie McNeff.
