POLK COUNTY, Fla. – Two exceptional seniors from the International Baccalaureate (IB) program at Bartow High School have achieved a remarkable feat, securing full scholarships to prestigious universities through the QuestBridge National College Match program.
Eshan Alam has been awarded a full scholarship to Brown University, while Alexander Andrade has received a full scholarship to Duke University. These outstanding students were among only 2,627 recipients selected from a pool of over 25,500 applicants nationwide.
The QuestBridge program connects high-achieving high school seniors from low-income backgrounds with full four-year scholarships to 52 of the nation’s top colleges. The program aims to increase opportunities for talented students who may face financial barriers to higher education.

Both Alam and Andrade have demonstrated exceptional academic performance throughout their high school careers. They are both ranked in the top 10% of their graduating class and are active members of various extracurricular activities and community service initiatives.
