Fallyn has been saving up for some time, money from chores, the tooth fairy, and her grandparents. She wanted to check her progress, so she grabbed her piggy bank to count.
After dumping her coins, she started by separating the coins out by size, making four piles of quarters, dimes, nickels, and pennies.
After separating them she made stacks of a dollar. She counted 100 pennies, 20 nickels, 10 dimes, and 4 quarters so she could easily see how much money she had in total.
In the end Fallyn was excited to have counted $17.29. She was able to learn to count her money on her own so she can keep track and save her coins for a giant popit or maybe a new Barbie.
