A Florida man with very distinctive facial tattoos, including horns, was arrested early this morning after a resident reported suspicious activity to the Martin County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO).
According to the MCSO, an alert Jensen Beach homeowner contacted authorities after observing a man going door-to-door at an apartment complex on N. East Ocean Blvd. The caller provided a description of the suspect, noting his unique facial tattoos. Exterior camera footage confirmed the description.

Following a brief search, MCSO Aviation, Road Patrol, and K9 units located and arrested 46-year-old Jonathan Richards in the vicinity.
Richards has been charged with two counts of attempted occupied burglary, possession of burglary tools, resisting arrest without violence, and a sex offender registration violation.

The MCSO credited the quick response and detailed information provided by the homeowner, as well as the clear camera footage, for the swift apprehension of Richards.
