HOMOSASSA, Fla. – A 47-year-old Homosassa man died in a motorcycle crash around 7:15 pm on Oak Park Boulevard Wednesday.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, the man was riding a motorcycle eastbound on Oak Park Boulevard (CR-480) just east of Corkwood Boulevard, when the rider failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway.
The motorcycle departed the roadway, entered the north shoulder, and collided with a tree.

Troopers say the rider suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the crash.
