CITRUS COUNTY, Fla. – A 41-year-old man from Homosassa, Florida, died early Saturday morning in a single-vehicle crash.
The accident occurred around 2:08 AM on County Road 491, north of West Fennessy Lane. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the man was driving a Chevy Corvette southbound when he lost control of the vehicle. The car left the roadway, collided with a tree, and overturned. The driver was ejected from the vehicle and suffered fatal injuries.

The crash is currently under investigation. It is unclear what caused the driver to lose control of the vehicle.
