CITRUS COUNTY, Fla. – A 36-year-old Homosassa man riding a Lectric bike (e-bike) was fatally struck by a Dodge Ram on CR-490 near South Lantana Way on Saturday at around 11:57 p.m.
The driver of the Ram, a 75-year-old Lecanto man, was traveling eastbound when the pedestrian crossed the highway and entered the vehicle’s path.

The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
