MONROE COUNTY, Fla. – A Homestead man was cited Wednesday for catching an undersized snook in Key Largo.
Monroe County Sheriff’s Deputy Mario Marin was patrolling near Card Sound Bridge around 8:45 p.m. when he encountered 38-year-old Francisco Maikel Barranco Lopez in possession of a gutted snook that was smaller than the legal limit.

Lopez was issued a mandatory notice to appear in court.
