Holiday Teen Motorcyclist Killed In Tragic Pinellas County Crash

PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. – A tragic accident claimed the life of a 19-year-old Holiday man Thursday evening. The young man was riding his Honda CBR sportbike northbound on US-19 when a southbound Chrysler Pacifica van, driven by an 85-year-old Palm Harbor man, turned left at the intersection of Highland Lakes Boulevard.

The motorcycle collided with the van.

Emergency responders transported the motorcyclist to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. The driver of the van sustained minor injuries.

The crash occurred around 7:40 PM and is currently under investigation. No further details have been released at this time.
