PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – A tragic collision involving a motorcycle and a sedan on Mile Stretch Drive in Holiday claimed the lives of two individuals and left another injured.
According to authorities, a 20-year-old Holiday man was operating a Ducati M750 motorcycle at a high rate of speed heading westbound on Mile Stretch Drive. A Scion XB sedan, driven by a 70-year-old New Port Richey man, was traveling eastbound on the same road.

The collision occurred at the intersection of Arcadia Road when the sedan attempted to make a left turn into the path of the oncoming motorcycle. The motorcycle struck the sedan with significant force.
Both the motorcyclist and his passenger, a 20-year-old woman from Lutz, suffered fatal injuries at the scene. The driver of the sedan sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the crash to determine further details, including the contributing factors leading to the collision. Authorities have not released the names of the victims.
