PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – A Weeki Wachee motorcyclist is recovering from serious injuries after a hit-and-run accident on US-19 last week in Pasco County.
The Florida Highway Patrol is asking for any information that could help identify the driver who fled the scene.
On August 8, 2024, a hit-and-run collision on US-19 near Sea Ranch Drive resulted in serious injuries for a 48-year-old Weeki Wachee motorcyclist.

The incident occurred when a Jaguar sedan, traveling northbound in the outside right turn lane, attempted a lane change across all northbound lanes, cutting off a Yamaha motorcycle.
The Jaguar abruptly stopped in the inside lane due to traffic, leaving the motorcyclist with no time to avoid a collision.
The motorcyclist was seriously injured, while the driver of the Jaguar fled the scene. Authorities are seeking the public’s help in identifying the hit-and-run driver.
