PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – A fatal hit-and-run incident in Hudson has left a 59-year-old woman dead, and authorities are searching for the driver responsible.
The incident occurred on the evening of October 30th on US-19, south of Country Club Drive. A white SUV traveling northbound struck the woman as she attempted to cross the highway.

Tragically, the driver of the SUV did not stop to render aid and fled the scene. The victim was transported to a local hospital but later succumbed to her injuries.
The Florida Highway Patrol is urging anyone with information about the incident or the driver of the white SUV to come forward. Witnesses can contact FHP by calling *347 or Crime Stoppers at **TIPS.
