Hit and Run Crash In Tampa, Driver Sought by Investigators

TAMPA, Fla. – According to Florida Highway Patrol, a driver involved in a hit and run on November 19th is sought by investigators.

Troopers say a car was traveling southbound on South 50th Street, north of Habersham Road. The driver lost control of the vehicle which traveled across the northbound lanes of 50th Street, departed the roadway, and collided with an SUV, which was parked and unoccupied in the owner’s front yard.

The car then continued and collided with a wooden power pole, a fence, then a second wooden power pole. Following the collisions, a black BMW driven by a female arrived and the driver fled the scene of the crash with the woman in the BMW.
