HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – Hillsborough County Supervisor of Elections Craig Latimer recognized VoteHillsborough Art and Voter Registration contest winners at Tuesday’s School Board meeting.
The Supervisor of Elections Office held voter registration drives in high schools in the fall and spring.
The schools with the most successful voter registration drives, based on the percentage of the senior class were:
– 1st Place: Plant City High School
– 2nd Place: Howard W. Blake High School
– 3rd Place: Spoto High School
VoteHillsborough Art Contest
Latimer challenged elementary and middle school students to design a new Future Voter’ sticker to encourage young people to learn more about voting and elections.
The first-place stickers are being handed out during community outreach events.
Elementary School Finalists:
– 1st Place: Venkata Sai Jyotsna Tatikonda, Lowry Elementary
– 2nd Place: Mabel Marie Rendleman, Stowers Elementary
– 3rd Place: Suah Kim, Chiles Elementary
Middle School Finalists:
– 1st Place: Nathaniel Freeman, Williams Middle Magnet School
– 2nd Place: Lucy Linton, Turner/Bartels K-8 School
– 3rd Place: Isla Gaudreau, Homeschooled
