HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) has arrested a six-time convicted felon following a pursuit that began with a traffic stop.

On April 8, 2025, deputies observed a motorcycle without a visible license plate near Madison Avenue and 78th Street.

The driver, identified as 36-year-old Antonio Williams of Bradenton, was wearing a clown face mask and operating the motorcycle recklessly. Deputies attempted to initiate a traffic stop, but Williams refused to stop and fled at a high rate of speed.

Williams then turned onto Trenton Street, abandoned the motorcycle, and fled on foot near a body of water.

After a brief foot pursuit, deputies apprehended Williams.

During the pursuit, deputies witnessed Williams drop a black satchel into the water. The bag was recovered and found to contain various narcotics and a stolen firearm.

“This individual made it clear he had no regard for the law or the safety of anyone around him,” said Sheriff Chad Chronister. “Driving dangerously, fleeing from law enforcement, and being in possession of a stolen firearm and illegal drugs is the kind of behavior that has no place in our community and that we are committed to keeping off our streets.”
