The YEA! Awards honor students in three categories:

  • Leadership: Recognizing students who demonstrate 21st-century skills like critical thinking and collaboration to lead others in academics, extracurriculars, or community service.
  • Success Despite Difficult Odds: Recognizing students who have overcome challenges to make a positive impact on others.
  • Volunteer or Community Service: Recognizing students dedicated to serving their community.

Nominations can be submitted online at HCFL.gov/YEA. The Hillsborough County Commission on the Status of Women will review the submissions.

Established in 2010, the YEA! Awards showcase students’ initiative, innovation, and commitment to excellence. The Board of County Commissioners will present the awards in October.
