HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FL – Motorists in Hillsborough County should prepare for a week of lane closures on major roadways, including I-4, I-75, and I-275, as the Florida Department of Transportation (DOT) District 7 conducts ongoing construction and maintenance.
The following is a summary of lane closures scheduled for March 2-8, 2025:
Interstate Closures:
- I-4 (North and South Frontage Roads): Lane closures between Wheeler Street and Charlie Taylor Road, Sunday, March 2, through Thursday, March 6, from 9 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.
- I-4: Lane closures between 21st Street and the I-275 interchange, Monday, March 3, through Thursday, March 6, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- I-75: South of the Alafia River Bridge (near Exit 250), lane closures Monday, March 3 through Friday March 7 nights from 8:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.
- I-75: Lane closures between Progress Boulevard and Woodberry Road, Sunday, March 2, through Friday, March 7, from 8:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.
- I-75 Interchange at SR 574 (Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard): Southbound lane closures Sunday, March 2, through Friday, March 7, from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.; Northbound lane closures Sunday, March 2, through Thursday, March 6, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- I-75: Southbound lane closures from the Tampa Bypass Canal to the US 301 overpass, Sunday, March 2, through Saturday, March 7, from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. (closures continuing through March 14, Sunday-Friday)
- I-75 Ramps (Exit 266) onto Fletcher Avenue: Lane closures Sunday, March 2 through Thursday, March 6 nights from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
- I-75: Lane closures from Fowler Avenue to Fletcher Avenue, Sunday, March 2, through Thursday, March 6, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
- I-275 (Howard Frankland Bridge): Lane closures between Hillsborough and Pinellas counties, Sunday, March 2, through Saturday, March 8, from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
- I-275 Southbound Entrance Ramp from George J. Bean Parkway and Memorial Highway: Lane closures Sunday, March 2 through Friday, March 7 nights from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.

- US 301: Lane closures from Wildgrass Meadow Drive to Simmons Loop, Sunday, March 2, through Thursday, March 6, from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.
- US 92 (E Hillsborough Avenue): Lane closures at N 47th Street, Sunday, March 2, through Thursday, March 6, from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.
- US 41B (Causeway Boulevard): Lane closures from Maritime Boulevard to South 22nd Street, Sunday, March 2, through Thursday, March 6, from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- US 41 (N Nebraska Avenue): Lane closures at E 124th Avenue, Sunday, March 2, through Thursday, March 6, from 7 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.
- SR 60 (Memorial Highway): Westbound lane closures from George J. Bean Parkway to Veterans Expressway, Sunday, March 2, through Thursday, March 6, from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
- SR 60: Lane closures from Clarence Gordon Jr. Road to the Polk County Line, Sunday, March 2, through Friday, March 7, days from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and nights from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- SR 574 (Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard): Westbound lane closures between I-75 and Williams Road, Sunday, March 2, through Thursday, March 6, from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.; Eastbound lane closures Sunday, March 2, through Wednesday, March 5, from 10 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.
- SR 582 (Fowler Avenue): Lane closures from 51st Street to Riverhills Drive, Sunday, March 2, through Thursday, March 6, from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m.
- CR 672 (Big Bend Road) and Old Big Bend Road: Lane closures from Kings Lake Drive to Simmons Loop, Sunday, March 2, through Saturday, March 8, from 9:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.
- Palm Avenue: Lane closures from Central Avenue to Nebraska Avenue, Monday, March 3, through Friday, March 7, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- Fletcher Avenue: Lane closures from Hidden River Parkway to I-75, Sunday, March 2, through Thursday, March 6, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Drivers are advised to plan accordingly, allow extra travel time, and use caution in these areas.
