HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – Drivers in Hillsborough County should prepare for a week of overnight and daytime lane closures on several major roadways as the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District 7 continues its ongoing work.
This summary outlines the anticipated disruptions from Sunday, April 27th, through Saturday, May 3rd, 2025. Motorists are advised to plan their travel accordingly and exercise caution in construction zones.
I-4: Expect nightly lane closures on I-4 between I-275 and Scott Street from Sunday, April 27th through Friday, May 2nd, between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. Additionally, I-4 from County Line Road to McIntosh Road will have lane closures Sunday, April 27th through Thursday, May 1st, from 9 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.
I-75: Single lane closures are scheduled on I-75 from Progress Boulevard to Woodberry Road nightly from Sunday, April 27th through Friday, May 2nd, between 8:30 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. The I-75 interchange at SR 574 (Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard) will also experience lane closures nightly from Sunday, April 27th through Friday, May 2nd, between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m.

I-75 Tampa Bypass Canal: Southbound lanes on I-75 from Fowler Avenue to SR 574 (Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard) will have nightly closures from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m., Sunday, April 27th through Friday, May 2nd. Important Note: This southbound lane closure will continue Monday through Friday until May 30th.
I-275 (Howard Frankland Bridge): Travel between Hillsborough and Pinellas counties on the Howard Frankland Bridge will be affected by nightly lane closures from Sunday, April 27th through Saturday, May 3rd, between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m.
US 301: Lane closures are anticipated on US 301 from Wildgrass Meadow Drive to Simmons Loop nightly from Sunday, April 27th through Thursday, May 1st, between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. Northbound lanes on US 301 at Park Creek Blvd will also be closed nightly from Monday, April 28th through Friday, May 2nd, between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m.
US 41 (Nebraska Avenue): Daytime lane closures are scheduled on US 41 (Nebraska Avenue) from Bearss Avenue to Kennedy Boulevard from Monday, April 28th through Friday, May 2nd, between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.

US 41B (Highland Avenue): Southbound lanes on US 41B (Highland Avenue) from Violet Street to SR 574 (Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard) will be closed from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, April 28th through Thursday, May 1st. Important Note: This southbound lane closure will continue Monday through Friday until May 30th.
SR 60 (Memorial Highway): Westbound lanes on SR 60 (Memorial Highway) from George J. Bean Parkway to Veterans Expressway will experience nightly closures from Sunday, April 27th through Thursday, May 1st, between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m.
SR 60: Westbound lanes on SR 60 from US 41 to US 301 will be closed nightly from Sunday, April 27th through Thursday, May 1st, between 7:30 p.m. and 7 a.m.
Harney Road: Expect a lane closure on Harney Road under the I-75 overpass (Tampa Bay bypass canal) nightly from Sunday, April 27th through Friday, May 2nd, between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m.
