HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – Hillsborough County Supervisor of Elections Craig Latimer is reminding voters they can vote this weekend.
“I’m encouraging voters to cast their ballot, whether in person or by mail, as soon as possible,” said Supervisor Latimer. “I don’t like to see anyone miss their chance to vote.”
For this Primary Election, voters receive a Republican, Democratic or nonpartisan ballot, depending on their party affiliation. Voters can see what will be on their ballot by visiting VoteHillsborough.gov and looking up their sample ballot. All ballots include nonpartisan races for school board and judges, and a Universal Primary Contest for public defender. Universal Primary Contests occur when all candidates in a race represent the same party and would be unopposed in the General Election.

Hillsborough County’s in-person Early Voting continues daily through August 18, with 27 sites open 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. Voters can vote at any Early Voting site during this period. Voters who have a Vote By Mail ballot can drop that ballot in a Secure Ballot Intake Station at the elections offices or at Early Voting sites during Early Voting hours. Voters should allow at least a week to return their ballot by mail.
All Vote By Mail ballots must be in one of the five Hillsborough County Supervisor of Elections offices no later than 7 p.m. Election Day to be counted. Vote By Mail ballots cannot be turned in at Election Day polling places.
