HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is closely monitoring the aftermath of Hurricane Debby as it impacts the county, resulting in significant flooding and dangerous conditions.

In response to the severe weather, the HCSO Aviation Unit has captured footage of widespread flooding at East Bay Little League Park, the Alafia River, Bullfrog Creek, and Little Manatee River State Park. This footage highlights the extensive damage and hazardous conditions caused by the storm.

To ensure residents’ safety, the Aviation Unit actively monitors conditions from above, keeping a vigilant eye on flooded areas and neighborhoods.

“We urge all residents and visitors to avoid these flooded areas and remain cautious, as conditions remain unpredictable,” said Sheriff Chad Chronister. “Our deputies are relentlessly assessing the rising waters throughout the area. If you encounter any flooding, please contact HCSO immediately. Our team is here to assist and ensure the safety of you and your families.”
