HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office has arrested 21-year-old Corbin Hunkele, a recent detention cadet, on charges related to child pornography.
The investigation began on July 4, 2024, after the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) tipped off authorities about someone in a Hillsborough County residence uploading child pornography. Hunkele, who joined the Sheriff’s Training Academy in April, was identified as the suspect following detailed investigative efforts.
Detectives uncovered evidence linking Hunkele to the possession and distribution of child pornography, resulting in his arrest.
