BRANDON, Fla. – The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a bank robbery in Brandon.
On Monday, August 15, 2022, at approximately 3:00 p.m., a male suspect entered the Truist Bank located at 11015 Causeway Blvd, in Brandon. The suspect handed the teller a note demanding cash. The teller then provided an undisclosed amount of cash, and the suspect fled on foot towards the back of the bank.
Deputies are currently searching for a white male wearing a red, white, and blue Columbia hat, a dark-colored shirt, white or light-colored shorts, and white shoes. He also had on gold-rimmed, Aviator style sunglasses.
“I am urging everyone to take a good look at these images,” said Sheriff Chad Chronister. “ Anyone who recognizes this man, or may have seen anything suspicious in that area, please contact us immediately.”
