HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) announced Tuesday the successful culmination of a five-month-long investigation that dismantled a significant drug trafficking and organized criminal operation run by the Latin Kings gang.

The initiative, dubbed “Operation No Good Secrets,” targeted the gang’s widespread criminal activity, which impacted communities throughout Hillsborough County and beyond.

On Wednesday, April 16, 2025, HCSO executed search warrants at various locations, including residences in Brandon, Tampa, Pasco County, and “Secrets Gentlemen’s Club” in Town ‘n’ Country.

The adult entertainment venue was reportedly a site where undercover detectives conducted multiple narcotics transactions.

Throughout the investigation, a total of 13 individuals were apprehended.

“The Latin Kings organization is responsible for brutal violence, senseless deaths, and widespread destruction, tearing apart families, flooding communities with addiction, and leaving behind a legacy of fear, trauma, and chaos,” said Sheriff Chronister. “They don’t just deal in drugs and weapons; they deal in devastation. Our communities deserve to feel safe, and I want gang members to know: we’re coming for you.”

Among those arrested are seven documented Latin Kings gang members, four Latin Kings gang associates, and two additional individuals connected to their criminal network.

Authorities identified key players in the operation. Ian Dunn, 30, a known Latin Kings associate and a 10-time convicted felon, is alleged to have been the primary drug source. He faces charges including RICO (Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act), Trafficking in Cocaine (200–400 grams), and Conspiracy to Traffic in Cocaine.

Julian Finlay, 39, another identified Latin Kings associate and a key supplier working alongside Dunn, is facing charges of Trafficking in Cocaine, Amphetamines, Fentanyl, and multiple RICO-related offenses.

Jovani Latalladi, 43, a documented Latin Kings member and five-time convicted felon, was also taken into custody. He faces a multitude of charges, including Felon in Possession of a Firearm, Delivery and Possession of Cocaine, Trafficking in Cocaine (28–200 grams and 200–400 grams), Unlawful Use of a Two-Way Communications Device, Counterfeiting a Driver’s License or ID Card, Providing False Information on a Pawnbroker Form, and the Fraudulent Creation, Use, or Possession of Fictitious Personal Identification Information.

The operation yielded a significant haul of narcotics, firearms, and criminal assets, underscoring the extensive nature of the gang’s activities. Detectives seized 1.4 kilograms of methamphetamine, 1.1 kilograms of cocaine, and 262 grams of fentanyl in both powder and pill form.

Other drugs recovered include 682 Xanax pills, 8.2 ounces of psilocybin mushrooms, hydrocodone pills, and marijuana. Additionally, five firearms were confiscated, including a sawed-off shotgun and a weapon with an obliterated serial number. Authorities also seized $14,608 in U.S. currency, a Latin Kings gang manifesto, and a 2021 BMW X4 Competition Series SUV.

“This was not a low-level operation; it was an organization functioning with street-level efficiency and cartel-level supply. With patience, precision, and perseverance, the brave men and women of the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office executed this operation flawlessly,” said Sheriff Chronister. “We will not stop. We will continue to root out and take down gangs who think they can operate in our county. We are always watching.”

The investigation remains ongoing, and authorities indicated that additional arrests and charges, including RICO and Conspiracy to Commit RICO, may follow as the full scope of the Latin Kings’ criminal enterprise continues to be unraveled.
