Hillsborough County Opens Three Distribution Sites For Hurricane Relief

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – Residents of Hillsborough County impacted by Hurricanes Helene and Milton can now access essential supplies at three newly opened points of distribution (PODs).

These PODs, operated by Hillsborough County in partnership with the National Guard, will be open today, October 12th, from 12:30 PM to 7:00 PM, or until supplies last.

POD Locations:

  • Elev8 Fun, Citrus Park Mall: 7902 Citrus Park Town Center Dr., Tampa, FL 33625
  • HCC Brandon: 10451 Nancy Watkins Dr., Tampa, FL 33619
  • Gibsonton Walmart: 9205 Gibsonton Dr., Gibsonton, FL 33534

Residents can drive through these locations to pick up bottled water, tarps for home repairs, and meals, all without having to leave their vehicles. No identification is required.

Reporting Unmet Needs:

Residents who have unmet needs as a result of the hurricanes are encouraged to report them online at HCFL.gov/DamageAssessment or by calling (833) HC-STORM or (833) 427-8676. This information will be used to connect residents with appropriate resources and assistance.
