Hillsborough County Offers “Spooktacular” Halloween Fun For All Ages

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – Hillsborough County is ready to celebrate Halloween with a variety of fun and festive events for the whole family! Whether you’re looking for a spooky skate competition, a trunk-or-treating adventure, or a free family-friendly bash, there’s something for everyone this Halloween season.

Halloween Skate Jam

Show off your skating skills and compete for prizes at the Halloween Skate Jam! Events include a Best Trick Contest, Coffin Race, and Best Costume Contest.

  • Saturday, Oct. 26th, Carrollwood Village Skate Park, 5 to 8 p.m.
  • Saturday, Oct. 26th, Providence Skate Park, 5:30 to 10 p.m.
  • Tuesday, Oct. 29th, Jackson Springs Skate Park, 7 to 8 p.m.

Trunk or Treat

Enjoy a safe and fun trick-or-treating experience at various parks and recreation centers throughout the county.

  • Thursday, Oct. 24th, Emanuel P. Johnson Park & Recreation Center, 6:30 to 8 p.m.
  • Friday, Oct. 25th, Jackson Springs Park & Community Center, 6 to 8 p.m.
  • Friday, Oct. 25th, Mango Park & Recreation Center, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
  • Friday, Oct. 25th, Northdale Park & Recreation Center, 6 to 8:30 p.m.
  • Friday, Oct. 25th, Ruskin Park & Recreation Center, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
  • Thursday, Oct. 31st, Balm Park & Recreation Center, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Boo Bash

Join the free, family-friendly Boo Bash at Brandon Park and Recreation Center! This event features trick-or-treating with local businesses, games, activities, and food and drinks.

  • Saturday, Oct. 26th, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
