HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – Hillsborough County Adult Day Services is set to host its second symposium dedicated to fostering a dementia-friendly community. The event aims to educate and empower residents, caregivers, and businesses to better support individuals living with dementia and their care partners.
The symposium and panel discussion will take place on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Sun City Center Community Hall, located at 1910 South Pebble Beach Blvd., Sun City Center, FL 33573.

This symposium is a key component of the Hillsborough County Adult Day Care Services’ Caring About Unifying and Supporting Elders with Dementia (C.A.U.S.E.D.) initiative. C.A.U.S.E.D. seeks to create a coalition of businesses and community groups dedicated to promoting inclusion and support for those affected by dementia.
Through the C.A.U.S.E.D. initiative, Hillsborough County Adult Day Services aims to cultivate a community that is informed, safe, and respectful of individuals living with dementia, their families, and caregivers. The program also strives to provide supportive options that enhance the quality of life for those affected by dementia.

The symposium will feature a panel of experts from prominent organizations, including the University of South Florida Memory Disorder Clinic, the University of South Florida Health Department of Neurosurgery, Your Health Tampa Advocate, and Mortellaro Law.
The event is open to the public, including caregivers, support service providers, medical professionals, business leaders, and business owners.
