HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – Hillsborough County Fire Rescue fought a residential structure fire Friday morning at 4819 Edmund Court in Dover.
Officials say a 911 call came into the dispatch center at 9:03 AM from a first-party caller stating a bedroom was on fire.
The first arriving engine, Engine 26, reported smoke coming from the eves, called a working fire and deployed an attack line to initiate an aggressive interior attack.

Incoming crews assisted with water supply, conducted searches and helped with firefighting operations. There were no occupants inside the residence at the time of the fire.
Despite the fire growing into the attic above the bedroom, firefighters contained the blaze to the room of origin, preventing further spreading throughout the house.
There were no injuries to civilians or first responders.
“Our investigator determined the cause of the fire to be electrical,” said HCFR.
