TAMPA, Fla. – Hillsborough County Fire Rescue fought a residential structure fire at 5204 S. 80th Street in Tampa on Tuesday afternoon.
“Our emergency dispatch center received a 911 call at 4:37 PM today from a second-party caller reporting smoke and flames coming from the residence,” said HCFR.
HCFR’s Engine 1 was first on the scene, confirming a working structure fire.

Crews pulled an attack line to battle the blaze from the interior, controlling it in just over 10 minutes.
Additional crews assisted Engine 1 with the fire attack, supplied water from a nearby hydrant, and conducted primary and secondary searches of the residence.
Officials say there were no occupants inside the house at the time of the fire and no injuries to civilians or first responders.
The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
