Hillsborough County Fire Rescue Battles Structure Fire, Multiple Vehicles Burn In Riverview

RIVERVIEW, Fla. – Hillsborough County Fire Rescue (HCFR) fought a structure fire and multiple vehicles that burned in Riverview on Monday afternoon.

“Our Emergency Dispatch Center received multiple calls at 4:23 P.M. from second-party callers reporting visible smoke and flames coming from a structure on Fawn Dale Drive in Riverview,” said HCFR.

The first unit arrived at a structure burned to the ground, another involved, and a box truck and boat involved in heavy fire. Firefighters pulled a handline to battle the blazes.

Crews established a water supply using water tanker operations and assisted with firefighting operations. The building that was burned down before our arrival was determined to be a large shed.

There were no occupants in any of the structures involved.

One adult female has been transported in stable condition. There have been no injuries to first responders.

“Our Fire Investigations Unit is on the scene, working to determine the cause,” said HCFR.
