HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – Hillsborough County Administrator Bonnie Wise has extended the state of local emergency declared on October 6th in anticipation of Hurricane Milton. The extension will remain in effect until December 22nd.
The declaration allows the county to take swift action to protect public health and safety, and to seek federal reimbursement for storm-related expenses.
