HERNANDO COUNTY, Fla. – Carmen Luz Malave Aquino has been located and is being checked out by Fire Rescue. She will then return to her family.
PREVIOUS REPORT: The Hernando County Sheriff’s Office is seeking assistance from the public and media to locate Carmen Luz Malave Aquino, a missing endangered adult.
Aquino was last seen on November 5, 2024, around 4 p.m. at her home on Mosquero Road in Spring Hill. It is believed she left on foot, and her current whereabouts are unknown.

While Ms. Aquino has no formal diagnosis of cognitive impairment, family members report that she can become confused when far from home. Additionally, Ms. Aquino has a history of attempting self-harm within the last three months, increasing the concern for her safety.

- Weight: 175 lbs
- Eyes: Brown
- Hair: Brown
- Clothing: Unknown
- Other: May be carrying a walking cane
