HERNANDO COUNTY, Fla. – The Hernando County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating Mark Andrew Davis Jr., a sexual offender who has failed to register with the Sheriff’s Office as required by law.
Davis was released from the Department of Corrections on August 17, 2024. He was required to register as a sex offender with the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office within 48 hours of his release.
As of August 23, 2024, he has not registered, and his whereabouts are unknown, deputies say.

Davis was last seen on or around August 17, 2024, at Jericho Road Ministries in Brooksville. He was attempting to check into their program but was denied due to his sex offender status.
