HERNANDO CTY Fla. – The Hernando County Sheriff’s Office says a boat exploded at the Hernando Beach Boat Ramp. Patients are being treated and airlifted from the scene, deputies say. Firefighters and law enforcement officers are in the area and have shut down the boat ramp, which will be closed for more than an hour.
Deputies and Fire Rescue are on scene at the Hernando Beach Boat Ramp due to a boat explosion.
Patients are being treated and airlifted from the scene at this time.
The boat ramp will be CLOSED for more than an hour. Please avoid the area or expect lengthy delays.
