HERNANDO COUNTY, Fla. – A 49-year-old Brooksville woman was fatally struck by a vehicle while attempting to cross County Line Road west of Mariner Boulevard Tuesday night.
The incident occurred at approximately 9:46 p.m. on March 11, 2025. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a 55-year-old Hernando Beach man was driving a westbound Audi E-Tron when the pedestrian entered the roadway.

The woman, attempting to cross County Line Road, walked into the path of the oncoming vehicle and was struck. She suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the crash.
The Florida Highway Patrol is currently investigating the incident.
