HAINES CITY, Fla. – As a law enforcement department holding Advanced Law Enforcement Accreditation since 2014, the Haines City Police Department, every four (4) years, hosts assessors from the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies
(CALEA) to perform reviews of the agency’s operations, policies, and adherence to the stringent standards of CALEA. For this four-year cycle, the Haines City Police Department’s CALEA Advanced Law Enforcement Accreditation “site-based”
assessment is scheduled for November 9th through November 12th, 2020. As part of the assessment, the Haines City Police Department invites members of the community and public safety agencies to offer comments by calling (863) 421-5578, ext. 2279) on Tuesday, November 10th, 2020, between 10:00 a.m. and
12:00 p.m. The Assessment Team will be taking telephone comments during these hours.

Telephone and Public Hearing comments are limited to five minutes and must address the ability of the Haines City Police Department to comply with the CALEA standards.
