POLK COUNTY, Fla. – A Haines City man with a penchant for sticky fingers found himself in trouble with the law again after a theft at Hobby Lobby. The Polk County Sheriff’s Office arrested 51-year-old Anthony Michael Kucel on February 4th for retail theft.
Deputies responded to the Hobby Lobby store in Davenport’s Posner Park Shopping Center around 10:28 a.m. following a report of a theft. Kucel had purchased a poster but allegedly stole approximately $30 worth of merchandise before fleeing in a Ford Mustang SUV.

Deputies located the vehicle and arrested Kucel, who was transported to the Polk County Jail. Kucel’s vehicle was towed from the scene, according to deputies.
Correction. Mr. Kucel has no prior arrests or convictions on record.
