HAINES CITY, Fla. – Robert Lubin, a 36-year-old resident of Haines City, Florida, has been sentenced to 12 years and 6 months in federal prison for his involvement in fentanyl and cocaine trafficking.
The drugs were sourced from Georgia and intended for distribution in Florida. Court documents reveal that Lubin engaged in fentanyl sales in July 2023.

He also attempted to have a package containing 991.8 grams of fentanyl shipped to himself, which was intercepted by authorities. In September 2023, Lubin was apprehended with over 3 kilograms of cocaine in his vehicle.

The investigation into Lubin’s activities was a collaborative effort involving the Drug Enforcement Administration, the U.S. Postal Inspection Service, the Lakeland Police Department, and the Florida Highway Patrol. Assistant United States Attorney Samantha E. Beckman led the prosecution.
