Gun Owners of America (GOA) expressed strong support Monday for the nomination of Kash Patel as the next Director of the FBI. Patel, a vocal advocate for the Second Amendment, previously spoke at GOA’s inaugural GOALS conference in Knoxville this past August, where he emphasized his commitment to protecting constitutional rights.
Erich Pratt, GOA’s Senior Vice President, praised the nomination, citing the need for reform within the FBI.
“We’re thrilled by the nomination of Kash Patel to head up the FBI. Over the course of the last four years, anti-gunners constantly weaponized the FBI against gun owners, and we’re confident that under his leadership, the reckoning is coming.”

Tim Macy, Chairman of GOA, echoed this sentiment, highlighting Patel’s dedication to constitutional principles.
“Kash is a true constitutionalist who shares our commitment to the Second Amendment,” Macy stated.
GOA is a nonprofit grassroots lobbying organization representing over two million members and activists. The group is known for its uncompromising stance on the right to keep and bear arms and has been a staunch advocate for pro-Second Amendment policies.

Patel’s nomination comes at a critical time as debates over firearm regulations and constitutional rights remain highly contentious. GOA leaders have expressed optimism that Patel’s leadership will usher in a new era at the FBI, one that aligns with their vision of protecting gun owners’ rights without compromise.
