Gulf Middle School Resumes Normal Operations After No Threat Found: Pasco Sheriff

NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla. – Law enforcement officials from the Pasco Sheriff’s Office and New Port Richey Police Department responded to Gulf Middle School today after receiving reports of a possible weapon on campus.

The school was placed on controlled campus status as a precaution while a thorough search was conducted.

After a comprehensive investigation, deputies determined that there was no weapon present and no immediate threats to the school.

Gulf Middle School has since resumed its normal operations.
