Governor Ron DeSantis has announced the appointment of Erin Huntley and the reappointment of Edward Pozzuoli and Linda Reiter to the Florida Virtual School (FLVS) Board of Trustees. The announcement highlights the governor’s continued focus on the leadership of the state’s pioneering online education system.
Erin Huntley, the newly appointed member, brings a wealth of experience in human resources and community engagement. As an Independent Human Resources Consultant, she also holds prominent positions within the Republican Party of Florida, serving as the Chair of Chairs, and the Chair of the Orange County Republican Executive Committee.
Furthermore, Huntley is a member of the Florida Association of Distributive Education Clubs of America Board of Advisors, showcasing her commitment to educational development. Huntley holds a bachelor’s degree in business and marketing and a master’s degree in education from James Madison University.

Edward Pozzuoli, reappointed to the board, is the Chief Executive Officer and Director of Tripp Scott Law Firm. His extensive community involvement includes serving on the Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce Steering Committee and as the Chairman of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society of South Florida.
Pozzuoli’s previous service on the Judicial Advisory Committee for the Southern District of Florida demonstrates his commitment to public service. He earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration and his juris doctor from the University of Miami.
Linda Reiter, also reappointed, is a self-employed Deaf and Hard of Hearing Specialist. Her background includes teaching Deaf and Hard of Hearing students for Miami-Dade County Schools.
Reiter’s community engagement is evident through her role as Co-Chair of the Committee for Students who are Deaf and Hard of Hearing and her past service on the CareerSource Florida Board of Directors. She holds a bachelor’s degree in individual and family studies from Pennsylvania State University and a master’s degree in rehabilitation counseling from the University of South Florida.
