Ted Cannon, a member of the Georgia-based Ghostface Gangsters, was sentenced to 30 years in federal prison for supplying methamphetamine to a Raleigh drug trafficking organization led by a national leader of the Pagan Motorcycle Club.
Cannon is one of 20 defendants convicted in this operation, which also resulted in a 75-year sentence for the drug ring’s leader, Christopher Baker.

U.S. Attorney Michael Easley emphasized the significance of this case in dismantling drug trafficking networks operating in Raleigh and along the East Coast. ATF Special Agent in Charge Bennie Mims highlighted the collaborative effort of law enforcement agencies in identifying, arresting, and prosecuting dangerous drug and firearm traffickers.
Court documents revealed that Cannon was a key supplier of methamphetamine, cocaine, MDMA, other drugs, and firearms to Baker’s organization. In 2021, a search of Cannon’s residence led to the seizure of numerous firearms, ammunition, methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia. Later that year, he was arrested in Georgia with 800 grams of crystal methamphetamine.

This case is part of the Organized Crime and Drug Enforcement Task Force Operation (OCDETF), a multi-agency initiative targeting high-level drug traffickers and criminal organizations.
The investigation was led by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the Raleigh Police Department, with assistance from the FBI, Raleigh/Wake City-County Bureau of Identification, and the U.S. Marshals Service.
