PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – With hurricane season approaching and other potential disasters looming, Pasco County Emergency Management is hosting the 2025 Disaster Expo on April 5th to help residents prepare.

This family-friendly, interactive event will provide valuable information and resources on how to prepare for hurricanes, tornadoes, flooding, wildfires, and other emergencies that can occur year-round in Pasco County.

“Ensuring the safety of our community is our top priority,” says Pasco Emergency Management Director Andy Fossa. “Pasco’s annual Disaster Expo is an essential event where we offer crucial information to help you and your family stay prepared.”

Attendees will learn how to:

  • Plan for evacuations
  • Register for special needs assistance
  • Protect their homes and businesses
  • Get involved in community preparedness
  • Prepare go-kits for people and pets
  • And much more!

The expo will feature interactive activities for children, including creating go-kits and a touch-a-truck display. Parents will have the opportunity to speak with Emergency Management experts.

Additionally, food trucks will be on-site, and attendees can pick up a copy of the 2025 Pasco County Disaster Preparedness Guide.
