PALM HARBOR, Fla. – The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a Clearwater man who they say showed up to protest the Trump rally in Palm Harbor wearing a rebel flag, a Trump mask, and carrying a sign decorated with swastikas.
Deputies said the political rally was being held at Nebraska Avenue and U.S. 19 in Palm Harbor when Scott Lee Rexroat, 59, of Clearwater showed up in a rebel flag and Trump mask. Witnesses said he began calling the Trump supporters Nazis and trying to start fights.
According to the affidavit, a deputy tried to separate Rexroat from the Trump supporters, the deputy said Rexroat struck him in the arm and shoulder. Deputies struggled to detain Rexroat and it was caught on video.

No one deserves this treatment at the hands of law enforcement. And Sheriff Gualtieri says there’s no police brutality in Pinellas County. This happened today to an older man who was protesting Trump in Palm Harbor, FL. Time to vote for a new sheriff! pic.twitter.com/1sW6HH5DVb
