It was clear, that COVID-19, from watching politics, social media, and even the world around us that broke many brains – perhaps irreparably so.
But news out of Germany shows how deeply fractured these intellects run.
The Daily Mail of London reported on Tuesday that German Euthanasia Association – a group that supports assisted suicide – has announced that its “clients” must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
Vaxxed. Before they commit suicide.
“Euthanasia and the preparatory examination of the voluntary responsibility of our members willing to die require human closeness,” the group said in a recent statement, according to the Daily Mail.
“Human closeness, however, is a prerequisite and breeding ground for coronavirus transmission.”
The policy, the paper added, was developed because of the “difficult task of balancing the protection of our members, employees, and doctors with the practical organization of our everyday life in the association.”
Further demonstrating how nutty things are in Germany, the Daily Mail noted that a previous ban on assisted suicide was overturned in 2017.
The courts sided with those who challenged the law by asserting that Germany’s constitution “guarantees personal freedom and dignity, which they said includes the right to choose when and how to die.”
Yet now with COVID, Germany has imposed a rule that allows organizations to deny entry to the unvaxxed and people who have recovered from the virus. The government there also has imposed “punishment,” as the Daily Mail called it, on the unvaxxed in an effort to force them to get jabbed.
